Richard Petty Teams Eager To Have The King Back At Track
Petty, 76, a seven-time Cup champion and inaugural NASCAR Hall of Fame inductee, missed the past three Sprint Cup races. The King typically only misses a few races a year. He is expected to be at Richmond International Raceway for practice and qualifying Friday as well as Saturday night's race. Lynda Petty died March 25 after a lengthy battle with cancer.
