Recently word spread that Jets owner Woody Johnson was planning to bring on Charley Casserly as a consultant to make personnel changes, according to NJ Advance Media. As of Friday night, Casserly was already making contact with potential replacements for Idzik’s and Ryan’s jobs.
Upon hearing this news, Ryan decided he wasn’t going to wait for New York’s season finale on Sunday to hear the official word, so he went ahead and cleaned out his desk.
Can’t say preparedness isn’t one of Ryan’s fortes.
