Hassan Saada was taken into custody Friday morning, O Globo reports. The Brazilian news outlet said Saada, 22, was accused of assaulting two maids at the village on Tuesday morning. An Associated Press report cited a police statement saying the two women were waitresses and the incident happened Wednesday.

According to the O Globo report, Saada allegedly first asked to take a picture with the women, then tried to kiss one of them and squeeze the breast of the other.

Saada is scheduled to open competition in the light heavyweight (under-81kg) class Saturday at 12:30 p.m. local time against Mehmet Nadir Unal of Turkey.

He finished ninth at the world championships last year and third in the African championships in his hometown of Casablanca.
