And Woods was quick to tweet out kudos, not just for the medalists, but all those who participated.

Woods, who hasn’t played since August 2015 and has undergone two surgeries on his back since then, has not set a timetable for his return to the sport.
Golf suffered from a ton of bad press leading into Rio, with big-name dropouts and Zika concerns, but many in the game have to be pleased with results from the weekend.
