Rhode held up her end of the bargain in Rio on Friday, taking bronze in women’s skeet shooting. The 37-year-old has now won a medal in each of the last six Olympics dating back to Atlanta 1996. Rhode’s collection now consists of three golds, a silver and two bronze — the first three in double trap, the next three in skeet.

This one tied her with Jackie Joyner-Kersee for the most individual medals by a female U.S. Olympian and gives her the most shooting medals in history for any woman.
Rhode defeated Wei Meng of China in a shoot-off to take the bronze after both women made 15 of 16 shots in regulation. Rhode pumped her first in celebration when Wei finally missed seven rounds into the shoot-off.
Fellow American Morgan Craft just missed making the medal round, falling in a three-way shoot-off to Rhode and Wei. The 23-year-old finished fifth in her first Olympics.
Diana Bacosi of Italy beat out countrywoman Chiara Cainero for gold.
