MORE: Breaking down the U.S. track team | Full medal count

Not only that, they got all three medals in the event, something that has never happened before in the event’s history.

Brianna Rollins won the gold in Rio on Wednesday night in 12.48 seconds, while USA teammates Nia Ali (12.59) and Kristi Castlin (12.61) came away with silver and bronze, respectively.

Rollins, the 2013 world champion, was the favorite entering the race — which took place one night before her 25th birthday — and she did not disappoint.

This will likely be a birthday she will never forget.
